Scribble provides teaching artists with a research-based approach to art education.

Our residencies include:

  • Customized curriculum to meet your needs

  • Art supply ordering and organization

  • The opportunity to participate in our annual fundraiser exhibitions at the American Academy of Arts & Letters in NYC

Why Scribble? 

  • We are a NYC DOE vendor and have worked with dozens of schools both in and around NYC for the past 10 years. Our teachers know how to effectively teach AND manage classes of any size.

  • We are an organization focused on the development of our students AND our teachers. Our teachers train with all age groups (toddler through adolescence) before they independently lead classes and then engage in ongoing training, evaluation and professional development. Our Instructional Leaders consistently train incoming teachers, keeping all of us highly aware and reflective of best practices.

  • Our Innovative Curriculum is developmentally based and aligned with NYS Standards for the Arts and the National Core Standards.

    We use high quality art materials because we know our young artists deserve them. Our curriculum guides young artists through the artistic process including taking an idea to fruition, focusing on all the problem solving in between.
