As a child, Sasha identified as an artist, mostly because her elementary school art teacher told her she was...and this connection with creating (as contrived as it began) led her down a path of exploring materials and methods in an effort to develop her skills, observe the world around her and innovate!

Sasha got her Bachelor's degree in Sculpture and French at Washington University in St. Louis, then a Master's degree in Art Education at the School of Visual Arts, then taught in every setting you can imagine the tristate area of NYC has to offer until she created Scribble. She also created and starred in her own podcast with Pinna: Anytime Art. She lives on a farm with her husband and newest Scribbler, little Harrison.
